On March 15, 2007 my 7^th grade class went to the Governor’s mansion.  On our way there, we got to see the outside of the capital.  When we arrived at the mansion, we met the governor’s wife, Mrs. Doyle.  She took us on a tour of only the downstairs.  They have lots of gifts from the other Governors that lived there.  Then we talked about our books.  She had a snack of juice and cookies, then we all were allowed to pick a book to keep.  The trip was a ton of fun.
