Just another Edublogs.org weblog

On Thursday, March 15, we took a trip to the Governor’s Mansion in
Madison.  While on this trip, I learned a lot of things.  For example, I learned that the mansion isn’t the Governor’s personal home.  It is actually a home that is owned by the state and whoever is the current governor at the time, lives in the house.  I also learned that most of the furniture pieces inside the mansion were gifts to the state.  The final thing that I learned was about the importance of reading.  Mrs. Doyle stressed the importance of reading quite a bit.
Reading is especially important in college.  That is what I learned on the trip.  (Oh, and the trip itself was fun because I got to listen to my mp3 player on the bus as well.)
