The trip we took to
Madison was fun.  When we arrived at the governor’s house, everyone made me feel welcome.  An interesting fact that I learned was that not everything in the house belonged to them and some were gifts for governors before him.  I liked the fact that I was able to go up and speak about my book.  I think that being able t do that lifted my self-confidence knowing it was in front of the Governor’s wife.  She also helped me to appreciate how important reading was and the good outcomes of going to college.  She was a nice lady and overall the trip was great.
